Hi there!

Strata News from Tower Body Corporate

We hope you're well.  In this edition of Strata News we look at

  • the looming 'cladding deadline' which BC Committees must comply with
  • the issue of tenants hanging pictures on walls
  • what's been making news
  • and share a few ideas on what's on around the Gold Coast

If you have a question or need some help, don't hesitate to ask.

Best regards

Kelly Borell and team at Tower Body Corporate

Combustible cladding registration deadline looms
Govt fines of up to $2,611 may be incurred by Owners/Committees who don’t register and complete checklist by 29 March.  Make sure your building has been registered.

All you need to know about fire compliance
Are you aware if your Scheme is compliant with Queensland's fire safety rules?
All Bodies Corporate must ensure that the six requirements are met annually, or face a penalty from $8-165,000.

Can Tenants Hang Pictures?
The answer to this question depends on the terms set out in the tenancy agreement. Legislation in Qld looks set to change this year, and follow rules which favour renters that are in place in NSW and VIC.
We look at how to see approval, and share several ways to display art without causing damage.
We are thrilled and honoured to have been contracted as the new Body Corporate Administrators for the Properties listed below.

We extend a big welcome to the Committees and Lot Owners of each Scheme, and very much look forward to getting to know you and helping you to manage your Schemes efficiently.
